I Will Survive: Fabric of Change Workshop *free* at The Brunswick Club

A event held at The Brunswick Club on Saturday 10th November. The event starts at 14:00.

Fabric of Change - wear your heart on your sleeve.

Celebrating how art and crafts have been used in the struggle for social and political change we will make our own fabric badges and patches.

In a culture of ready-made Internet memes and slogans on t-shirts – this workshops will ask, what would be meaningful for you to hear right now? What would be meaningful to share with others?

A hands-on workshop with recycling and collaboration at its heart. Share your skills and learn new things. You will learn simple techniques to sew and print text, stitching together the personal and the political.

Bring what you can - use what you need.

Materials will be provided but do bring fabric and embroidery threads if you have them.

Cost - pay what you can. All proceeds to Brunswick Club

Times: 2-5pm
