SWELT + RILEY/RADLEY + ESTHER POLLOCK at Cafe Kino
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Free entry! Hometown slowcore heroes Swelt finally birth a big slab of wax into the world! Celebrate the coming of age of their rapturous violin-led lethargy alongside Riley/Radley’s desert-frazzled primitive guitar twang and Esther Pollock’s ominous subterranean mini-symphonies. Bristol born slowcore band swelt are due to release their debut album 'Bones' on 10th March. To celebrate, they'll be joined by Bristol kindred spirits Riley/Radley and Esther Pollock (foot foot) for an evening of live music.

swelt
Following the release of their debut album 'Bones', swelt bring their fractured, slow-burning songs to Cafe Kino. Rooted in restraint and release, their sound channels '70s folk, slowcore and first-wave post rock.
FFO: Sparklehorse, Acetone, Talk Talk, Low

Riley/Radley
A duo formed at a Flower/Corsano show, fingerstyle guitarist Danny Riley and drummer Noah Radley deconstruct and blend the far corners of rock and folk, carving out their own niche in their freeform improvisations, conjuring up elemental fragmentations that are never the same.
FFO Sun City Girls, Six Organs of Admittance

Esther Pollock (foot foot)
Following a sold out headline show at Strange Brew, singer and guitarist of foot foot Esther Pollock performs a stripped down set of intricate, rhythmic and melancholic songs.
FFO Swirlies, Slint, caroline
