Iᑎ ᔕIᒪᐯᗴᖇ are a four-piece Bristol-based band creating alternative folk music, with highly personal and emotive songwriting at its core. Their sound is illustrated by arrangements which range from a whisper to grooves that get people moving. Having headlined the Louisiana earlier in the year, and taken their music on the road to the Fish Factory in Penryn, they now bring their set to Cafe Kino.
Lee Rahn is an acoustic singer/songwriter based in Penryn. With an intimate picking style, full of alternative tunings, combined with his soft vocal that is both melancholy and whimsical, Lee is often compared to artists such as Nick Drake and John Martyn. Since living in Cornwall, he has recorded two solo Albums, So Much Longing, So Little Time (2023) and the song I was singing (2025).
Scarlet Reading is a British singer-songwriter and guitarist, making something-like-folk music. Having grown up on the south coast and now living in Bristol, she writes about the ocean, about driving and walking in vast landscapes. Her upcoming debut album explores these things, with her soft and clear voice dipping in and out and in between violins and flutes. Shes normally found playing solo with a great spangling resonator guitar.
