Eminent x CPU w/ CPSmith, Daddy Long Leg at Cosies
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"CPSmith has since 2012 curated an enviable portfolio of spacey futurism and dancefloor weapons, and taking over everybody’s favourite basement alongside Daddy Long Legs – a man who combines sleazed-out b-boy flavours with retrospective, atmospheric synth-pop to become the golden boy for CPU. Support comes from Eminent’s very own rising star Zobol to round off a line-up of contemporary hard hitters of an unmatchable sound. Tickets: hdfst.uk/E44043 Listen: bit.ly/2qrUNoO"

A clubnight held at Cosies on Friday 27th April. The event starts at 22:00pm.

This year has already been a busy one for Eminent with events in three different cities and the start of our audio hire and agency services too, and all before turning two years old!!! In light of this, we have decided to throw what we think might be one of our best parties to date to celebrate our second birthday with and an all-out electro showdown in our favourite Bristol basement.

The resurgence of the genre in the recent past is indisputable and Sheffield based label Central Processing Unit have been one of the major contributors to this renaissance with a back catalogue that boasts some of the biggest names in the game, and this isn’t looking like it will change anytime soon.

The label has parties lined up in London and Berlin featuring electro heavy hitters Maelstrom, Morphology, Sync 24, Helena Hauff and Radioactive Man and will also be co-hosting its own stage at Dimensions this summer with Tortured & Electrix Records featuring Silicon Scally, DMX Krew, The Exaltics, DJ Stingray, DJ Billy Nasty and CPSmith, all of whom have contributed and reinforced the recent resurgence with killer sets at dances and festivals across Europe and beyond.

So, it is with great pleasure that we can bring you the label boss himself, CPSmith, along with Daddy Long Legs and long-time electro champion and Eminent resident Zobol, all of whom will be bringing their own arsenal of electro missiles, for a special night in a special place.

This is a night to be very excited about in a city like Bristol that is spoilt for choice when it comes to electronic music, especially if you’re a fan of electro. This truly is not one to be missed.
