Chrissy is a genre-bending DJ/producer with releases on Hooversound, Shall Not Fade, Classic Music Company and many more. His selections centre on rave music, Chicago house, and disco, but his multi-decade career has ranged from jungle to footwork to freestyle. This unique form of story-telling has brought him to venues such as Panorama Bar and Fabric, and past residencies at Smartbar in Chicago, and San Francisco’s oldest and most storied queer club, The Stud. His new record label, Maximum Airtime, is grass-roots and forward thinking, featuring upfront, melody-forward euphoric rave bangers.
Chrissy's relationship with Ruffnek Diskotek goes back many years (we gave him his first Bristol show in 2006!), so it's our greatest pleasure to host him once again in the imtimate setting of Cosies!
Ruffnek residents Atki2, Dub Boy and Jonesy Wales on the warm up duties. All long time DJs and producers, we'll be picking tracks from soca, amapiano, dancehall, global bass, and our own huge stash of in-house productions.
Finally, we'll be joined by session and club percussion specialist, Bongosan. Longtime extended Ruffnek family, this man's traveled the length of UK club land, spicing up dances with expert grooves.
We have a small number of pre sale tickets for this one, and the rest will be on the door. Seriously, please get down early, Cosies is a small venue, and we don't want you disappointed x
