DJ Ryu has been active professionally for 10+ years and plays everything from party starting Funk & Soul, Hip-Hop, Disco & Boogie, to more club orientated sounds of Indie-Dance, House, Electro & Breaks. Always armed with a healthy dose of remixes, re-edits & secret weapons to keep every dancefloor going all night long.

Ryu is also the head of London founded party brand 'Rockit Science' and has played alongside Massive Attacks' Daddy G, Portishead's Andy Smith, Bill Brewster, A-Skillz, The Nextmen, Normski, Cut La Roc, Psychemagik, Midfield General, Deadly Avenger, Leo Zero, Mighty Mouse, FC Kahuna, Leftside Wobble, Cosmonauts, Punks Jump Up, The C90s, Mojo Filter and Dean Sunshine Smith.

Ryu relocated to Bristol in 2014 and continues to push the Rockit Science sound. Ryu has now had bookings at Motion (main stage & tunnel), The Lanes, The Fleece, Blue Mountain, Big Chill, The Love Inn, The White Bear, Tobacco Factory and The Grain Barge. Current residencies are held with Kongs, Mr Wolfs, Hy-Brasil Music Club, 51 Stokes Croft and Craig Charles' Funk & Soul Club Bristol, with regular appearances at Thekla (main stage & deck bar).
