Xeno & Oaklander // Void Vision at Crofters Rights

A gig held at The Croft on Sunday 19th May. The event starts at 20:00.

Back with their new record "Hypnos", crystalline darkwave duo Xeno & Oaklander will be playing at The Crofters Rights with the woven EBM lady Void Vision.

Xeno & Oaklander

Xeno & Oaklander are a seminal New York City based synth-electronic band.

Topiary is the band’s second full length for Ghostly International, released June 2016. They have been covered on Pitchfork, NPR, The Wire, The Quietus, V Magazine, The NY Times

“It’s a warm breath against your neck when you’re bracing against an ice storm.” – Pitchfork

“With gorgeously layered sequences and a rubber-band drum-machine beat, “Marble” is deceptively all moody atmosphere, but Wendelbo’s voice drips and warps like a Dali painting, giving the song elastic movement.” – NPR

Void Vision

Void Vision is the electronic solo project of Philadelphia-based musician, Shari Vari, formed around 2009 when the minimal synth and coldwave genres were undergoing a revival and rebirth thanks to labels such as Wierd Records (home to acts such as Xeno & Oaklander, Led Er Est, Martial Canterel, Automelodi, etc.) and Veronica Vasicka's Minimal Wave, among others.
