A
gig
held at Dareshack
on New Years Eve. The event starts at 19:00.
This New Year’s Eve, Dareshack invites you to stretch out and settle in after a long year.
We’re bringing the party home by turning the entire space into a pop-up living room to take you to a warm, nostalgic place. Our house party promises the warmest of soulful sounds, a great boozy & non-boozy drink selection, and your favourite foods from family feasts.
In the spirit of home and sharing, we’ve teamed up with the Fruit Machine House Band to welcome the evening with an open stage improvisation in which all participants are welcome, followed by Paradisco DJ’s playing the finest selection of funk, soul, disco, calypso, and soulful house music.
Tucked away in the back of the house party, we’ll have the Think Tank, a calm colour room for reflection; or, if you want to take the party outside, we have a selection of walkmen with specially curated mixtapes for a mobile moment of respite.
Instead of starting the New Year with a big bang, we’re bringing it in with a warm hug; we hope you join us for the fun! Socks and slippers are encouraged.
