Umbra is a creative arts collective composed of four young visual artists, each of whom explore the boundaries of photography, experimental visuals, concepts, and themes. Umbra encompasses the four artists' work through its varied meaning: from its literal meaning of shade or shadow, to ‘the invariable or characteristic accompaniment or companion of a person or thing’, to ‘a phantom or shadowy apparition’.
