To call this brand-new trio a ‘supergroup’ is serious understatement! Mighty keyboardist Jon Baggott is joined by two members of El Rinc regulars Slate Trio: maverick guitar legend Neil Smith and dazzingly brilliant drummer Matt Jones. Between them, their musical CV encompasses Portishead, Massive Attack, Robert Plant, This Is The Kit, The Brackish, Zun Zun Egui, The Liftmen, The Invisible Apples, Free Four, and many others. Can’t quite believe this’ll be their first performance together. Expect a choice mix of jazz and groove standards, plus some original compositions, and just general top-class musicianship. Mint.
