Tank and the Bangas at Electric Bristol
£16.35 incl. booking fee

A gig held at Electric Bristol on Friday 1st March. The event starts at 19:00.

New Orleans collective Tank and the Bangas have been catapulted to new heights since winning NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest. With the irrepressible Tarriona ‘Tank’ Ball leading the charge, they meld spoken word, soul, funk and improvisational jazz in unforgettable live performances that are every bit as vibrant and quirky as their home town. Bell is the charismatic “conductor of a colourful, boisterous orchestra” (Auston Chronicle), spitting out rapid-fire verses and diving into soulful, spine-tingling vocals.

“The group have been a well-kept secret for years, but the word is out.” (Rolling Stone)

Ages 14+ (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.)

This is a standing Colston Hall Presents show at SWX Bristol, 15 Nelson St, Bristol BS1 2JY.
