GRANDCHILD + DOLEBURY WARREN Q'TET + CUTMESUM.FLAC at Exchange
£3 OTD

A gig held at Exchange on Friday 1st July. The event starts at 19:30.

GRANDCHILD
----------
GRANDCHILD is the project of Finn Hodgson and Calum Hunt, created out of their shared desire to perform live music. Inspired by the shoegaze bands of the 90s, as well as contemporary drone and ambient artists, GRANDCHILD combine emotive songwriting with rich instrumentation and modern sound design.

THE DOLEBURY WARREN QUARTET
---------------------------
The DOLEBURY WARREN QUARTET is a collaborative project between TDWM (Charlie Purse, Fred Purse), Big Fuss (Harry Irvine) and Bearer (Jack Simmonds).
"We've come together with the aim of producing music with a strong emphasis on texture. As if mixing paint, each player with their own colour is able to alter the tonality and hue of the collective sound, dependent on volume and frequency of playing. In this way, we avoid a 'bandlike' hierarchy. Instead each player becomes a soloist and with their brush are free to paint however much or little of their colour onto the soundscape."

CUTMESUM.FLAC
-------------
Producer and DJ cutmesum.flac loves creating hard and fast noise and techno. Inspired by the edgy and abrasive Bristol noise scene of Avon Terror Corp, Monica Badly and Sarahson.
