Seek Warmth ALBUM LAUNCH + Lo-Hi-Lo at Exchange
See event details

A gig held at Exchange on Friday 20th June. The event starts at 20:00.

Seek Warmth started as a lo-fi pop/indie two piece, formed in the corridors of a school by two teachers. A proper practice and a couple of pints later and it became a serious thing. At gig number two (at The Louisiana) Paul and Jay met drummer Cal, and fast forward another year bassist Miles joined. A few practises, a few gigs and a few lockdowns later and the band had recorded their first album in the basement of the Louisiana, released in 2022.

They return to release album #2, recorded in various locations over the last three years.

Lo-Hi-Lo are a Stroud-based 3-piece channeling their love of noisy melodic indie, weird folk and fuzzy guitars into loud-quiet slivers of lo-fi music. Contrasting the gentler side of Grizzly Bear, Redhouse Painters and Guided by Voices with the sharper overdriven tones of The Vaselines, Joy Division and Pixies.

Entry requirements: 14+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
