A gig held at Exchange on Thursday 4th September. The event starts at 19:30.

30 Years Of Gig Posters by Sepr

An exhibition and live gig to mark the 30th year of Bristol based artist Sepr designing and printing flyers and gig posters.

A diverse mix of work from Melvins to Venetian Snares, Foo Fighters to Coldcut, Queens Of The Stone Age to Congo Natty, all the work from then till now will be on display. Also if you’ve played in bands in Bristol over the last 30 years there’s a high chance you’re in there too.

The exhibition will be opening at 17 Midland Road, Old Market, Bristol Thursday 4th September 5pm and it’s only fitting there will be live music on the night, around the corner at Exchange featuring an eclectic mix of Metal-Punk-Jazz-Folk from:

Empire Of Dust - Cthulhu’s chosen ones, harbingers of crushing doom that will hold no quarter. https://empireofdust.bandcamp.com
Rank - Viscerally charged yet sonically focussed hardcore, their searing sets leave most happily scorched. https://rankhc.bandcamp.com
Bryn Wyrd - Double bass grooves maliciously processed through a melee of distortion and electronics. https://aphelioneditions.bandcamp.com/album/l-a-crab
Annie Gardiner - Dark, sad grrrl dark folk music performed with immense grace and honesty. https://anniegardiner.bandcamp.com/album/bloodletting-2

Doors 7pm

The exhibition will run afterwards 10am-6pm daily from 5th-11th September. Bristol based speaker legends Minirig will also be getting involved…more info to be announced soon.

Exchange has a small ramp entrance from the street. Our bar and main event space are on the ground floor with level access throughout and we have an accessible toilet. If you need any other info on accessibility, please contact [email protected]
