Caper Ceilidh- The GLOW Up at The Trinity Centre

A gig held at The Trinity Centre on Friday 24th July. The event starts at 19:30.

Have you ever heard of a capercaillie? What about a "Caper Ceilidh"?! Our Caper Ceilidhs are a ceilidhs (traditional folk music and dance events) raising money for rewilding and other conservation charities around the UK.

After a number of riotous sell-out events dancing the night away for fantastic causes, we are back again for a summer ceilidh at the one and only Trinity Centre!

Come and join us for a fantastic evening of energetic folk music and dancing, with one of Bristol's best ceilidh bands- The Brewery Band!

This month we’re fundraising for Westbury Wildlife Park Foundation, who run an amazing nature reserve and community space in a wooded valley nestled at the heart of Westbury-on-Trym.

This is particularly special as Pete, one of our founding committee, runs a Glow-worm conservation project from the park where he breeds these declining light-bringers for release into areas they have gone extinct or new Rewilding areas. As interest and demand grows, the park will need to expand its capacity and are planning to convert an existing building on site to make it a scientific, state of the art facility where there will be more room for Glow-worm breeding and a chance for the public and school groups to learn about them.

Our previous events have received rave reviews, so what are you waiting for? Grab your ticket while sales last to avoid disappointment!
