Studio sessions: drawing from life at Fresh Dance and Arts Centre

A event on Wednesday 30th November. The event starts at 20:00.

An opportunity to momentarily unplug from the world and tune into a creative space. This is a visually engaging and relaxing drawing session, guided by local artist Lauren Maria Hill.

Drawing exercises our mind which releases endorphins, building new connections and pathways. Whether you would like to hone your existing skills, quiet a busy mind or try something completely new, this is the perfect opportunity.

Natural and man-made objects are arranged on white wooden plinths; with a focus on colour, shape and form. Materials are provided which include a range of mediums to inspire you.

We begin with a series of warm-ups in charcoal, before moving on to extended drawing on paper at your own pace, while mellow beats play in the background.

Sessions last 1.5hour and take place at Fresh Dance & Arts Centre on Greenbank Road, Bristol BS5.
