What's On Friday 13th August — in Bristol

A complete list of live music and nightlife for Friday 13th August.

From today's events

“WE MADE IT!
518 days since we last were allowed to rock out at full volume. Exactly 17 months since we could dance, mosh and headbang together. Our horns have not been held aloft all in unison for 44,755,200 seconds.
In short, it's been a long time coming but we're back, and ready to rock harder than ever before.
We last partied properly at The Lanes on Friday the 13th of March 2020 and it is so perfectly fitting that Friday the 13th has rolled around again and finally the restrictions are behind us and we're back 100% in action.
It has been a hellish time for many of us, but we at Phuct want to say to each and every one of you wonderful metalheads who have kept each other safe for the last 17 months: Thank you, and we're proud of you.
So, on Friday August 13th 2021 we finally open the doors of The Lanes once more and offer the full Phuct experience. Loud, hard-rocking music courtesy of DJs Haggis, Miss Malice and Scoundrel, a fully stocked bar, a dancefloor for you to throw shapes and mosh as much as you wish on, and a night we have been waiting on for so, so long.
BUT we're also still allowing those who want to be cautious and still join us an opportunity to do so as well as we will be reducing the capacity of the venue down and allowing pre-bookings of balcony tables to allow those who want to remain in a bubble scenario, without being caught in a crowd, to do so.
We fully respect those who still want to remain cautious, along with those who want some human contact back 100%, and we're doing all we can to accommodate both sides of that coin. These tables will be limited and available to book in advance only so hit the ticket button to reserve them.
We've got a few upgrades going on which we'll also talk more about in the coming weeks, but these include the ability to pay with card on the door (as well as booking a ticket in advance which remains the cheapest way to guarantee entry) so we're keeping everything as safe as we can.
And of course: If you have any Covid symptoms please do not come as we do not want to put anybody at risk. Full refunds will be available for anybody who pre-books but tests positive for Covid prior to the event.
So come join us for the hardest and finest Metal, Alternative Rock, Punk, Nu Metal & Classic Rock on planet earth for your dancing/moshing/bouncing/headbanging pleasure.
Expect to hear Stonking Rock and Metal Alternative Classics from the likes of;
