A special gig by the brilliant Bristol based composer, bandleader and mean saxophonist Kevin Figes and his excellent quartet. Kevin spent much of 2018 writing new music for the bands 5th album to be released later this year and this will be the first live performance of some of the new compositions. The quartet have been rehearsing the new tunes since November and Kevin tell me they are now ready to go into the studio to record. So if you want a sneak preview of the new CD don't miss tonights gig.
