SAM CROCKATT is one of the UK's leading saxophonist and has recorded three excellent albums on Whirlwind Records - ‘Howeird’(Album of the Year, Parliamentary Jazz Awards), ‘Flood Tide’ and ‘Mells Bells’. Following his superb Quartet gig at Fringe Jazz in May the award winning saxophonist brings his classic Tenor Sax Jazz Trio to the club with the marvellous bass player Riaan Vosloo and Sam's fellow Loop Collective associate Dave Smith on drums. Dave is rated as one the UK's most exciting drummers with a huge range of experience and is currently the drummer in Robert Plant's 'Sensational Space Shifters', Jim Hart's 'Cloudmakers' and Pete Wareham's 'Melt Yourself Down'. A Trio of three of the country's finest jazz musicians - it's going to be a night not to be missed.
