Tonic 040: Stefan Mohamed at In Via Lactea
See event details.

A event on Thursday 5th May. The event starts at 19:00.

It's our 4th birthday – birthYAAAAY!
Don't we have a treat in store for thee: super scratch showcase, Team Tonic sets, half-time scratch and all headlined by the utterly stunning Stefan Mohamed.
There's no open mic this coming show, as we had a mega-long open mic for April's event and are changing it up for the birthday event (open mic will return in June onwards).
If you fancy getting on the scratch, find the latest "Scratch Sign-Up is LIVE" post and choose your prompt (spaces limited). *This is now full.*
HEADLINER
Stefan Mohamed is a performing poet, novelist and geriatric millennial based in Bristol. His poetry pamphlet 'The Marketplace of Ideas' came out in 2021 with Stewed Rhubarb, and his new collection 'Farewell Tour' will be published by Verve Poetry Press later in 2022.
“Stef writes about things which scare him and does it so brilliantly that he makes me believe that a life without hope wouldn’t be so bad really. He is also extremely polite and turns up on time” – Tom Sastry, Nine Arches Press poet.
