Lunch Money Life + HAAL at The Jam Jar
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Angular and ominous math-jazz to soundtrack the apocalypse. Think Crack Cloud’s post-punk fury fused with hypnotic instrumental jazz (and then some). "

Erratic Batting & LowKey Present...

Lunch Money Life
(Post-Apocalyptic Math-Jazz)
+ HAAL
(Crunchy DIY Post-Rock)

Thursday 28th April 2022 / The Jam Jar Bristol
Tickets from Headfirst Bristol / 18+

Lunch Money Life make music with obsolescent electronics, jagged guitars, combative drumming & brass all set to a hyper modern musical narrative immersing the listener in a world of miss-stepped paranoid groove and unexpected twists and turns.

A musical brew unlike anything else around, two horn wielding brothers in control of their electronic work stations sparring off against each other with a maddened intent, creating soundscapes for the apocalypse.

As players they have been on the fringes of the London music scene for years, between them creating & sculpting in the institutions/outlets such as the Church Of Sound, Total Refreshment Centre, Touching Bass & Tiff's Joints.

+ HAAL
Echoing and building upon the crunchy, highly dynamic post-rock sounds of the late ’90s and early ’00s, HAAL is a project where the triphop, industrial and electronica music of the same era culminates. This is fed within samples, DIY pedals, and synths to create motorik rhythm, hypnotic riffs with sudden explosions of noise and power.
