With her undeniable stage presence and magnetic energy, Hayley Zalassi has quickly stamped her name on Scotland’s underground music scene as one to watch.
The Glasgow born and bred DJ and producer took inspiration from her time working in The Arches to transform her life from behind the bar to behind the decks.
Over the past three years Hayley has risen to new heights, fast becoming a must have name on any lineup. During these years she has completed many firsts; notably her first Subculture slot with local legends Harri & Dom, headlined festivals including Creamfields, TRNSMT and Otherlands, and playing an impromptu B2B in the world renowned Sub Club with no other than Don of house music; Kerri Chandler.
Zalassi also released her biggest record to date. Her track, ‘Strange Faces’ with Big Miz, has been played on various Radio 1 shows and features Hayley’s own voice, proving that she isn’t even just a DJ/ Producer, but also a surprisingly soulful vocalist. The feel good Strange Faces continues to be played by fans and other DJ’s alike.
Her continuous sold out club nights show the party is far from over, and 2023 is set to be the Glasgow girl’s most exciting year yet. With gigs in her diary in the UK and Ibiza, she is set to increase her even reach further.
