Mabon Equinox Ceremony: The Harvest Decorations. Nature Based Art Workshop at L'Étoile Studio
See event details

A event held at L'Étoile Studio on Sunday 20th September. The event starts at 11:00.

Join us for a vibrant celebration of the Autumn Harvest Festival, where we explore its rich symbols and traditions through hands-on crafting of traditional home decor using locally sourced straw, dried grass, flowers, and herbs.

This inspiring event invites participants to meditate on their intentions for the winter season, focusing on expressing gratitude for what they have and setting mindful intentions for what they wish to preserve and invite into their lives during the colder months. As we create meaningful artefacts that honor folklore and seasonal change, we blend artistic expression with cultural reflection in a unique and engaging experience.

Together, we will take a moment to reflect on our blessings, embrace the cycle of nature, and set heartfelt intentions for the winter ahead—cultivating gratitude and clarity as we prepare for the season to come.

Mabon is a pagan festival celebrating the Autumn Equinox, a time for giving thanks for the harvest and seeking blessings from gods and goddesses for a bountiful winter. Ancient Celts, pagans, and neopagans observed this day with gratitude for nature’s abundance. The celebration often involves crafting traditional decorations, such as dolls, using materials like straw, dried grass, flowers, and herbs. It’s also a time for reflection, focusing on intentions for the coming winter.
