See event details

A gig on Saturday 17th February. The event starts at 19:30.

We have something a bit special. Rory Charles is the lead singer of Manchester based band The Age of Glass, known for their outlandish live shows, they have performed across the UK and Europe to an ecstatic reception. In his solo project, Rory swaps the sequins and synths for raw, honest song writing. He has spent years performing concerts and busking around the globe. Revelling in the informal nature of street performance and the broader spectrum of audience it offers. Rory’s other worldly vocals transcend the present, transporting audiences into a melodic reverie. Honing his craft through the natural barometer of the street, Rory regularly draws crowds in their hundreds. Enveloping them in a serene, warm and stimulating atmosphere with his music and never failing to put smiles on faces. Rory’s songs have been used in a number of feature films and documentaries including the multi award winning ‘I Am a Creative Soul’ (2020), ‘Bruder Schwester Herz’ (2019), ‘Summers Downstairs’ (2015) and ¾ (2014). Currently Rory is busy working on a commission to write 6 songs for a computer game due to be released early 2024 alongside his 3rd studio album to be released in the same year.

Early Doors 7pm starting 7.30. There will be a small cheap bar for refreshments.
