The Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio bring the 1960’s organ jazz stylings of Jimmy Smith and Baby Face Willette, a pinch of the snappy soul strut of Booker T. & The M.G.‘s, and The Meters. They tease you with influences ranging from Motown, Stax Records, Blues, Funk and cosmic Jimi Hendrix-style guitar.
The band originates from Seattle, WA, and features organist Delvon Lamarr, a self-taught virtuosic musician with perfect pitch. He taught himself jazz and has effortlessly been able to play many instruments.
The 2022 album Cold As Weiss came out at the end of 2022 on the hip Colemine Records label to universal acclaim.
