With an album now confirmed in the pipeline the Hippo Sound System can't wait to debut their new material with their unique brand of 'tribal bass!' Drawing inspiration from their favourite parts of carnival and sound system culture, their sound is rhythmic, rootsy and heavy ...and will feature some very special guest vocalists.

One of Bristol's first live tropical bass acts, Xaman X, combine live electronics, traditional Colombian instrumentation and outstanding latin percussion. Lead by local hero Panther Panther and featuring the firey vocals of Marta Zu, their Cumbia bass fusion is sure to set the place off!
