The Undercover Hippy + Ember & Sentient Sound at Lost Horizon
See event details

A gig held at Lost Horizon on Saturday 13th April. The event starts at 19:30.

With the dust barely settled from their last hugely successful UK "In The Flesh" tour, The Undercover Hippy have announced that they will be back in April 2024 for more. The "Gimme More Tour '24" will see them covering the width and breadth of the country, bringing their signature flavour of hip-hop and reggae infused protest songs and party anthems. Expect to be amazed, amused, and uplifted in equal measure as The Undercover Hippy and co. deliver their uniquely delicious audio offerings to your eardrums.

Described by Tom Robinson (BBC6Music) as being “like the love-child of Steel Pulse, Kate Tempest and The Sleaford Mods”, The Undercover Hippy’s music brings together powerful messages, infectious reggae rhythms, and a lyrical delivery that will get even the most hardened hip-hop head nodding in approval.

Special guest support from TBA

Live Review - “I don’t think there’s anything quite like The Undercover Hippy... It’s truly unique, fun, and powerful, with darkly satirical lyrics in equal amounts set to a reggae beat that’s simply infectious… this has been one of the THE most enjoyable shows I’ve been to in years” - https://www.leftlion.co.uk/read/2023/april/gig-review-the-undercover-hippy-at-the-bodega
