10 years ago, Kendrick Lamar released To Pimp a Butterfly 'a celebration of the audacity to wake up each morning to try to be better, knowing it could all end in a second, for no reason at all.

The Scratch Cafe is Bristol’s Turntablist Community’s monthly scratch and B-boy jam. DJs and B-Boys come together each month to network, learn and jam with a supportive community of hip hop enthusiasts.

Mr. Big Mouth, the Co-Founder of the Scratch Cafe, is a party rocking Turntablist and Music Producer who creates and spins a wide range of Hip Hop, Breaks, UK Garage & Jungle records; all with his own unique twist. He is the BeatTrekkers DJ Battle Champion and a 2024 UK DMC Finalist. He runs the Scratch Cafe: Talking Turntablism podcast with Scratch Cafe Co-Founder, Ollie Gould, and teaches scratching , beat juggling and creative DJing to students all over the world in his online DJ school, The Temple of Turntablism. In 2023, he was invited to create a mix for Monkey Shoulder, the whiskey brand, alongside JFB, Scratch Bastid, DJ Numark, Jaguar Skills, Sarah Love and many more.
