Meeting The Dark Feminist at Mivart Studios
Tiered pricing to suit your means

A event on Friday 24th September. The event starts at 19:00.

Join Kimbers Rogers and Deborah Ward for a beautiful, relaxed evening for womxn combining storytelling, Dark Feminist philosophy & a welcoming, inclusive womxns sharing circle.

The ancient, rich mythology of the Dark Feminine goddesses such as Lilith, Kali, the Black Madonna and Persephone are road-maps for far more than the underworld; and its associated cycles of destruction, creation, & rebirth. Their storied myths and the wild wisdom contained in them offer us an alternative template in which to explore a sense of self that is rooted in the integration of all aspects of our womxnhood. They signpost us beautifully down the rabbit-hole of the collective unconscious; guiding us on a transformational journey towards radical healing, wholeness and unity. They also, however, represent a valid and much needed social commentary and perspective shift on the world which sits outside of societal norms.

This sacred event is made up of two halves: Firstly we'll share a storytelling from critically acclaimed storyteller Deborah Ward, followed by a talk on the fundamentals of the philosophy of The Dark Feminist and the impact she has on collective contemporary discourse with Kimbers Rogers. After a short break we will lie down and get comfy for a gentle but powerful meditative journey to connect with our Dark Feminist within. We will close our time together with a womxn's circle to share and reflect on our experiences.

The Dark Feminist draws her inspiration from all the Dark Feminines that have come before her. She asks us to learn to transcend what "woman" means, by inviting us to move away from outdated forms of wounded feminism. Consciously dissolving the illusory boundary between ‘us’ and ‘them’; the inner and outer planes and the systemic problem of patriarchy and its solution.

About the facilitators:

Deborah Antionette:
Debs is a creative performer, storyteller, theatre maker and facilitator. For her, stories hold the potential for deep healing, and laughter offers the possibility of irreverently unveiling the absurd ways the world can be. She digs into myths, flys with the magic of fairytale and revels in writing theatre sketches that shake-shit-up. Her explorations of story and Self extend to the realm of Systematic Constellations - a collective healing practise which focuses on our personal stories and seeks movement where relationships and narratives are stuck. She is the co-creater of comedy show 'Queen C*t Sacred or Profane?' and movement show 'Raven' and storytells 'Inanna', 'Sacred Bees', 'Owl Woman' and more - many of which hold feminist themes. www.deborahantionette.org

Kimbers Rogers:
Kimbers is the founder of The Dark Feminist; an innovative think-tank and integrative sacred space that reflectively discloses an alternative paradigm of feminine empowerment. One that embraces the All of our shared inner and outer experience with love, compassion and non-dualism. She is an experienced facilitator having worked with, lived with and directed groups in a variety of community, corporate and spiritual environments. Her interest in intergenerational trauma and conscious feminism are currently being explored alongside her one-on-one and group rehabilitation work with womxn who have recently been released from prison.
