“The first, Sacha Dench, is the brains behind Flight of the Swans, a ground breaking expedition which involved her flying 7,000km by paramotor from Arctic Russia to the UK, in efforts to save the migratory Bewick's swan (see here for further details https://www.flightoftheswans.org/). The journey was marred by numerous challenges including technical failures, adverse weather and injury. Against all these adversities, Sacha and the team demonstrated incredible problem solving skills, determination, resilience and confidence to complete the expedition.”
