Band bios:
Mandragora:
Mandragora are a Bristol based nu-metalcore band that formed in March 2023. They have since sold out two headline shows and performed at renowned venues including Thekla, The Fleece and Trinity Centre. They have two new singles on the way (the first of which to be released in May)!
These Foundations:
These Foundations originally formed under the band's original name, Viridian Dawn, in 2017. Inspired by a range of progressive metal, thrash and metalcore bands, These Foundations' style of music is a mix of heavy rhythmic structures, technical pieces and melodic soundscapes. The inevitable interruptions caused by the pandemic, family committments and an unexpected line-up change led to the band entering a hiatus that lasted nearly 3 years. Upon its return, the band decided to make a fresh start, with a new name. Viridian Dawn became These Foundations and welcomed new vocalist, Adam Watson, to the band. These Foundations are based near the city of Bath in the South West UK. Aside from Adam on vocals, the line up is Alex Wicheard on drums, Dave North on bass and backing vocals, and Greg Anderson on guitar. The current line-up recorded its debut EP in summer 2022, featuring 2 tracks from the original set and 2 new songs.
Invictus:
Smashing into the Bristol metal scene, Invictus captivate many with they’re fast and aggressive aura and strong stage presence. Taking inspiration from classic thrash bands of the iconic 80s and 90s and combining the style with a modern metalcore influence, Invictus generate a unique and powerful sound. Invictus came together in mid 2023 with Marcel Zapletan [vocals/guitar], Natasha Bray [guitar], Theo Waring [bass] and Alex Wilkes [drums] taking to the stage. Together, the Bristol quartet are dead set on rising from the abyss and leaving an everlasting legacy in the music world.
Petrichor:
Petrichor are a 4 piece band that combine elements of noise rock, grunge and shoegaze to create an eerie yet engaging atmosphere.
Choir of the Sun:
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and girls, gather round for a cosmic journey with Choir of the Sun, a stoner rock band from the psychedelic depths of the abyss (Bristol) . Led by the enigmatic high priest (Izaak), they blend heavy riffs, dream-like melodies, and mind-bending rhythms into a sound that defies categorization. Inspired by the wonders of, black sabbath, electric wizard and sleep. With a lyrical and vocal style inspired by the likes of syd barrett, nick drake and thom yorke. Their music invites listeners to lose themselves in a haze of smoke and swirling guitar solos. Join the congregation and let Choir of the Sun elevate your consciousness.
Blade of Grass:
Belting melodies soaring over gritty guitar tones, Blade of Grass’s addictive sound will plague your brain. The up-and-coming British band has a fresh take on the metal scene; instead of breaking through the confines of a pre-established sub-category, they have cultivated their own unique style. Blade of Grass precede their catchy anthemic choruses with an ominous sense of tension and attitude. The skillful intricacy of their writing style is accompanied by dark lyrical content, abstract metaphor and graphic imagery. This is complimented by front-woman Adele Redstone’s theatrical stage presence, vocal style and the overall aesthetic of the band.
For fans of: Evanescence, Disturbed, Lacuna Coil
The Cement Garden:

We're comprised of siblings Harry (guitar/vocal, he/him) and Riley Green (drums, they/them) and friend Jacob Housley (bass, he/him), formed in 2017. We combine thundering drums, funky basslines, aggressive guitars and socially-charged lyrics for a unique sound. For fans of Shame, SOFT PLAY and The Offspring.
