Ice Baths (London)
London's Ice Baths are finally coming through Bristol again. After a booking in 2020 that never happened, we are finally getting to put on one of the UK's most enthralling underground bands. Combining the post punk drawl and chill of bands such as Swell Maps, Wire and US Maple with the wiry pop sensibilities of bands such as Women and Telstar Drugs, Ice Baths are a very worthy edition to the UK Post-Punk canon, and a much needed UK entry into the 'Calgary Sound' movement (check it out)

Recent Elastic Furniture release-ees MOTES are one of Bristol hidden gems. The long running 3 piece have played only a handful of shows in recent years, but have still been slowly bubbling away and working on their craft behind the scenes. The new tape, 'escalator bill' showcases just why they are so much of a gem. A collection of instrumental tape/phone recordings of Krautrock repetition, xylophone trembles, angular guitars and heavy-but-soft drumming.
