A
gig
held at Mr Wolfs
on Friday 24th February. The event starts at 21:00.
Are you ready to be transported back to the 1920's, an era of speakeasies, prohibition and feather boas?
Guaranteed to have you shaking your tassels, with their ragtime take on some of today's chart hits, Trip For Biscuits is a Postmodern Jukebox-inspired party band based in Bristol and available all over the South West and UK.
At the core of the band is a deep knowledge of the music of the 1920s, garnered from many years on the Bristol traditional jazz scene, and a love of contemporary chart music - plus the imagination to put the two together.
Support from Ellie Moonshine & The Prohibition Band
Ellie Moonshine and the Prohibition Band are a sassy jazz/swing band, fronted by Ellie Moonshine on vocals and backed by saxophone, double bass, guitar and drums. They play jazzy songs from the 20s to the present day. You can expect a smattering of jazz standards, a few jazzed up pop tunes and a mix of fun filled up-beat floor-fillers.
Door Policy
Last entry with a ticket at 11:00pm, but all tickets holders are welcome to stay for the after show DJ until close. If you are planning to arrive later for the DJs, then payment will be taken on the door.
We reserve the right to turn away large groups, in particular Stag Parties, Sports Socials or Pub Golf. We want everyone who comes to Mr Wolfs to feel safe and comfortable. If this happens and you have purchased tickets, a full refund will be processed within 7 working days.
