Nookee + The Sisters & The Brothers at Mr Wolfs
See event details

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Friday 24th November. The event starts at 21:00.

HEADLINE: NOOKEE
Fronted by identical twin sisters and supported by a formidable rhythm section, NOOKEE offer tastefully served musical flavours for you to stir together as you please. Combined to make one big soup of sound, they bring a mouth watering experience to any person, from any walk of life.

Driven by blood matched harmony woven into sunny-side up rhythm and blues, these twins pour their soul into the genre-busting sound of their rhythm section. Varnished with funky aesthetics, this outfit will quench the thirst of both eyes and ears. Beginning their journey with a trip to Ireland in the summer of '21, this inseparable family of friends set sail and haven't looked back since. This is where they uncovered a profound musical bond, nurtured through heartfelt writing sessions on the Emerald Isle. After a colourless isolation, this trip was the catalyst for NOOKEE's vibrant energy to blossom.

SUPPORT The Sisters & The Brothers
What is that sound? It’s the sweet singing, hard stompin', bluegrassy, old-timey playing of The Sisters & The Brothers, a hard-working UK-based group of players ready to entertain you! From sweet, slow waltzes to creepy murder ballads to hurtling, barnstorming bangers.
