The Bare Souls & Ophelia Xerri at Mr Wolfs
See event details

A gig held at Mr Wolfs on Friday 8th July. The event starts at 21:00.

"Live music is great, but when it’s performed by people as talented as this bunch it ceases to become something you enjoy and becomes something you feel instead.
We defy anyone, of any musical genre bias, to watch lead vocalist Florence Pardoe channeling Etta James and not come away gobsmacked that they’ve not come across this band before.
If you love and appreciate live music, regardless of your preferred genre, The Bare Souls are a MUST SEE LIVE part of the Bristol music scene."
-The Bristol Gig Guide
From sleazy blues, to sultry soul, to good old fashioned rock n roll, with a heavy dose of funk thrown in to keep you moving, The Bare Souls are breathing fresh life into classic genres.
Florence Pardoe leads the group with a rich and powerful voice, reminiscent of the 70&80's soul greats, and writes lyrical, soul-baring and often painfully relatable songs, exploring passion, fear and joy. She is joined by some of the finest musical talent her hometown of Bristol has to offer. The full outfit brings the songs to life on stage with an energetic and passionate performance. A live show not to be missed.
