Leonardo Lemuel & Gunkus present "You Will Listen to Us," a Bristol superband supershow. On the cusp of their near-joint 35th and 30th birthdays, and a coming Leonardo Lemuel album "You Will Listen to Me," Andrew Wray and Patrick Fenton wish to ring in the new year with a wide array of their songs sure to excite, tantalize, confuse, and all other manner of emotions. You don't want to miss it!
Leonardo Lemuel is the work of bedroom artist turned performing artist Andrew Wray. Heavily inspired by the likes of early Bright Eyes, Neutral Milk Hotel, Tim Kinsella, and a variety of 90's Emo bands, Andrew has created a unified sound often described as "Dylanesque," "Jeff Mangum-y", "Mountain Goat-y," and perhaps a variety of other acts thrown into a wonderful blender. This evening Leonardo Lemuel presents itself as a 4-piece band full of loud and electrifying guitar effects and explosive drum rhythms
Following the demise of his band "Famous Jewish Sports Legends," Patrick Fenton created "Gunkus" as his solo moniker under which he performs and produces his own unique blend of 90's Punk rock, Folk, and various forms of what can be described as Alternative Rock. Gathering a wide array of collaborators, Patrick has prolifically produced dozens of smashing tunes, including the hilarious Dune parody musical The "Dune-Ical", the whimsical Harry Potter parody "The Boy Who Sings", a Christmas hit, and much more!
