A
gig
held at Mr Wolfs
on Thursday 19th June. The event starts at 21:30.
JAKE WILD
Jake Wild is an independent artist based in Bristol, known for creating spacey psychedelic bops.
Raised in the south-west of England and weaned on a steady diet of Rock, Soul, and Psychedelia, there wasn't much for him to do in his mid-teens other than nick his family's instruments and annoy the neighbours, which evolved into a career in songwriting and production.
Using his music for personal introspection and therapeutic expression, he scribbles out a diary cloaked in semiotics and metaphors. His work is for those who appreciate a more introspective musical landscape—dreamy soundscapes in a nostalgic haze, with comforting melodies that invite a peek at yourself reflected from the joys and struggles of a tangled life.
CLOCK RADIO SHOW
Devotees of the golden age of Creation, Factory and Rough Trade, power-pop purveyors Clock Radio have recently released their debut LP, ‘Turfin’ Out the Maniacs’ on Danish Goodtime Records. Expect crooked pop gems and age-inappropriate rock and/or roll accessories/ posturing.
