All Hands to the Capstan at Nova Scotia Pub, Hotwells, BS1 6XJ

A gig on Sunday 28th June. The event starts at 20:00.

The Hotwells Haulers invite you to join them for a quayside session of Shanties and Sea Songs outside the Nova Scotia Pub (inside, if wet).

The Haulers are a group of musicians and singers who have been performing together for thirty years. They hail from Hotwells, the first port of call as you enter the historic port of the City of Bristol, and their base is the Nova Scotia, an iconic quayside tavern.  Some were previously members of the famous Bristol Shantymen.

They will be presenting, for your entertainment, a programme of shanties, sea songs and tunes, many of which are from the Bristol Channel ports. It is an evening where they look forward to your participation in the many choruses and to filling the harbourside with maritme merriment . Perhaps you might even be tempted to dance a hornpipe?  Do come along - All Hands to the Capstan!

The event is free but there will be a collection for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
