Our debut event - TIMER - will be premiering some of the best female, womxn and non- binary artists from Bristol’s distinctive and unique bass music scene.
TIMER is an attempt to clear the barriers that limit the opportunities that most female, womxn and non-binary artists face, & we aim to do this by engaging these underrepresented groups to be the central component of our events, empowering them to be recognised for their accomplishments rather than merely to meet a quota.
Women have long been misrepresented and underrepresented in the music industry, and we endeavour for TIMER to be a platform that helps female, womxn and non-binary artists develop in their careers, giving them a platform to be seen, heard, and gain recognition. And so, for our premiere event, we will be teaming up with Full Spectrum an already well-established bass collective from Bristol to champion these artists for a night full of flair, skill, high-quality music, and epic talent.
Bristol Mind is a local charity close to our hearts and keeping in mind the effects the pandemic has had on mental health; we hope to be able to help this organisation in aiding those who need support. So, we’re proud to announce that all profits made on the night will be given to Bristol Mind.
