Back by popular demand, the legendary, always-sold-out Burns Night Ceilidh returns to Old Market Assembly.
Celebrate Burns Night with foot-stomping live music from local musicians Alex Garden (guitar & fiddle), Nick Hart (accordion) and Michelle Holloway (caller), who’ll whip the room into a whirling, galloping ceilidh frenzy.
What to expect:
A night of absolute joyful chaos. With traditional Scottish and English dances, wall-to-wall energy, and a night where everyone’s sweaty, smiling and dancing with strangers by the second tune.
Zero experience required.
Comfortable shoes essential.
Timings
- We’re open all day, come early for food, drinks and a pre-ceilidh warm-up
- Arrive from 9:30pm
- Ceilidh 10pm–12am (with breaks, we’re not animals)
- DJ afterwards to keep the party going
