The People's Comedy: Yard Party II - Return of the Scaffolding at PRSC
See event details

A event held at PRSC on Friday 1st August. The event starts at 19:00.

After the successful and hugely popular Yard Party I that we ran in 2024, we're bringing it back!

The People's Comedy WINNER (Chortle awards): Best pro comedy night '25 and Best live comedy format '25 for Wales & the West!

Comedians to be announced....!

WHY THE PEOPLE'S COMEDY?
The People's Comedy formed in 2018 with the aim of platforming comedians with a message (think counter-culture, underrepresented, original) and ensuring that they're paid for their craft. On top of that, no headliners showcasing each act's unique comedic voice.
Also, this night supports the collectively owned PRSC building to grow and thrive. More about them here: https://prsc.org.uk/

✔ raised tens of thousands of pounds for comedians paid in-line with our equal pay structure.

Please note: the more we make through tickets, the more we can pay acts! But please only give as much as you can comfortably.

There is a bar which opens the same time as doors, from 7pm.
The show starts at 7:30pm, so please arrive comfortably before then.

- N.B. if the weather isn't any good, we'll be running in the beloved inside space at PRSC- Capacity is reduced where we're outside so the higher fee helps us to ensure we can pay our artists.
