See event details

A event on Saturday 21st March. The event starts at 14:00.

Rainmaker Gallery is celebrating 35 years of championing Indigenous art in the UK. To mark this milestone we are delighted to welcome back multi-disciplinary artist Jason Wesaw (Pokagon Band of Potawatomi) with a new solo exhibition. The exhibition will run from 21st March - 31st May.

Please help us celebrate on Saturday, 21st March by joining us for an Artist Talk from 2-3 PM, followed by an opening reception from 3-5 PM. The cost to attend the talk is £10, please contact [email protected] to book. This event is part of Bristol Gallery weekend.

In a series of oil pastel drawings, through textured surface and carefully chosen colour, the artist reflects on reconnection, resilience and the generative power of return.

RETURNING explores our connections to the natural world and how our fragile existence is so dependent on living in balance with all of creation.

"As I return to Bristol after more than three years to present this new body of work, I do so with a message about one of our most important core meanings of life: Love." JW
