Swing Sunday with Cake! is a wonderful, fun event for EVERYONE. Set in the beautiful Redcatch Community Garden, it has become a popular event, involving everyone from Newborns to 90's. There is Swing! There is Homemade Cake! There is Dancing! For the first evening of 2026, we are delighted to welcome the wonderful Devil's Doorbell to The Canopy. . https://devilsdoorbell.wordpress.com/ Devil’s Doorbell are DIY musical troubadours, living and travelling on traditional narrow boats. Ukulele Nipper and Jellylegs Johnson perform vintage songs in a unique skiffle style. Expect ukuleles, homemade instruments, tenor banjo, scat singing, cheeky fun, tight swinging rhythms and eye-catching attire! Definitely going to fun evening it seems!!! Tickets include: 6pm Complete Beginners Swing Dance Lesson - all ages and abilities 6.30pm Practice Time - your chance to play around after the class :-) 7pm Live Band 1st Set 7.45pm Homemade Cake and Swing DJ (vegan and gluten free available - cakes are made in areas that may have had nuts present) 8.15pm Live Band 2nd Set 9pm Close RCG is an inclusive space.
