gig
held at Redgrave Theatre

Kitty Macfarlane’s songwriting is rooted in the natural world and the legacy of human connection to the land. The Somerset-born musician expresses this through lilting, delicate instrumentation, mellifluous vocals and “startlingly poetic lyrics” (The Guardian).
Her debut album ‘Namer of Clouds’ is “a debut full of old wisdom and bubbling over with new ideas” (Folk Radio) with songs about starling murmurations and eel migration as perceptive reflections on our existence.
Live, Macfarlane emphasises the vivid narrative of her songs, augmented by “richly descriptive context she lends them in-between numbers” (The Line of Best Fit).
Ages: 16+ (Under 18’s to be accompanied by an adult.)
