“Join artist, poet and community activist T.S. IDIOT to share your thoughts on using queer joy as a form of resistance and what that means to us, our writing, and centuries of outsiders (from Virginia Woolf to Ocean Vuong). Learn to write from a place of joy and resilience rooted in our collective queerness and the experience of anyone who has felt othered or outside the mainstream. All welcome.”

“This workshop will look at the creative act of rendering an existing text in a new language, and the multiplicity of possible texts it produces. We will consider ways to identify the core of a poem, how it can be moved into another language - and how that can inform our own writing. Open to anyone regardless of linguistic ability.”
