Raise the Bar at St George's Bristol
Book in advance via St. George's Bristol.

A gig held at St George's Bristol on Thursday 19th November. The event starts at 19:30.

Raise the Bar is back with its first live show in Bristol since MARCH, featuring an hour of epic spoken word, music and comedy, headlined by Harry and Chris!
Harry and Chris (Guardian Pick of the Fringe 2018, ★★★★★ Sunday Post 2019) are at the top of their field, having invented the field of comedy-rap-jazz. They’ve sold out three Edinburgh Fringe runs, appeared on the Russell Howard Hour and were called ‘fabulously entertaining’ by Jonathan Ross (we didn’t even pay him). From the ridiculous to the sublime, the world’s greatest comedy-rap-jazz duo bring award-winning wordplay, awe-inspiring musicality, eyebrow-raising bromance and unashamed joy to the Bristol stage once again.
*****IMPORTANT COVID SAFETY INFORMATION***** (this will be emailed to ticket holders also)

Firstly, if you or anyone in your household is experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus, or has come into contact with anyone with coronavirus, please stay at home and self-isolate. Thank you.

Arriving
Please check your ticket and/or concert information on our website to see which entrance to arrive at. We are splitting arrivals between our two entrances (Great George Street, and Charlotte Street) based on where you are sitting, to maintain social distancing. If you need step-free access, please arrive via our Charlotte Street entrance.

Inside the building
Please wear your face covering at all times, and use the hand sanitiser provided at each entrance. Our toilets will be open: we are operating a one-way, socially distanced queuing system. Please queue using the markers in our Box Office, then exit via the marked path through the Heritage Space, out towards the Cafe Bar and doors. Please use the one-way system marked in our Cafe Bar whilst queuing for a pre-ordered drink.

There are new socially distanced seating arrangements in our auditorium, which will be reflected in the seating plan when booking a ticket for any of our new indoor events.

Our staff and social distancing
Our staff will be clearly identifiable by their blue St George’s lanyards and badges. They will keep to a 2m distance, but will also be wearing full-face visors for if they need to come within a 2m distance of visitors (1m plus only as per government guidance). Please be respectful of our staff and the screens we have installed for counter customer service.

Cafe Bar and drinks

For some concerts, we are operating a new pre-order only table service system for drinks and nibbles in line with social distancing guidelines, to keep you safe and to manage the capacity in our bar area. Please check for this when booking tickets, and pre-order your refreshments via the online event to avoid disappointment on the night.

We have a one-way queueing and payment system clearly marked. Please use card/contactless payments wherever possible if you need to pay for anything within the venue.

We can’t wait to welcome you back!
