Rosie Frater-Taylor at St George's Bristol
£10 per unreserved ticket

A gig held at St George's Bristol on Wednesday 20th October. The event starts at 19:30.

The remarkable 21-year old guitarist-singer-songwriter Rosie Frater-Taylor is one of the leading lights on the London jazz scene, but her music reaches far beyond any one genre. Hailed by Tom Robinson (6Music) as ‘genuinely exceptional’ and by Yolanda Brown as ‘one of the most amazing musicians to come out of the UK music scene in recent years’, she blends adventurous songwriting with a whimsical pop sensibility, multi-layered acoustic soundscapes and virtuoso guitar skills. Her latest album Bloom, on which she collaborates with Snowpoet’s Chris Hyson, blurs the lines between jazz, folk, pop and soul and showcases her trademark luxurious vocals and unique song structures. “A delicious album. I’ve fallen in love with Rosie, musically speaking” (Gilles Peterson)
