Maya Youssef
A gig held at St George's Bristol on Wednesday 20th April. The event starts at 19:30.
Maya Youssef returns with Finding home which is a deeply evocative soundworld: infused with a sense of loss for her Syrian homeland, inspired by a more universal sense of home.
Maya's intense and thougtful music is rooted in the Arabic classical tradition but forges pathways into jazz, Western classical and Latin styles. It explores the emotional and healing qualities of music.
Quintet performance
