Baroque folk-rockers LIFTER released their first album ‘Clasping Hands with the Moribund’ in October 2024, which is now being released on wax for the first time! To celebrate, they're joined by friends from the Bristol-scene for a great night of live music.

Foot Foot are an emerging Bristol band who draw on the traditions of folk, math-rock and discordant post-rock to produce their intricate brand of songcraft — creating moments of intimate melancholy before launching into fast, jagged rhythms. Their use of contrast — indie-flecked songwriting with irregular, winding passages, or rich violin and vocal melodies with avant-jazz freakouts — has marked them out as one of the scene’s most innovative and impactful acts. Following a sold-out headline at Rough Trade and supports with Deerhoof and Horse Jumper of Love, Foot Foot released their debut album Still Waters, Empty House earlier this year to critical acclaim.
FFO: Swirlies, Slint, Vashti Bunyan, caroline, The Sonora Pine.

LIFTER proudly take musical cues from a diverse range of sources, including slowcore, folk, country, chamber pop, and indie rock, and deftly showcase this throughout their latest release. A handful of comparable sounds would include Fairport Convention, David Grubbs, The American Analog Set and Sparklehorse.
They have been noted for their live shows that switch between gentle intimacy and bursts of dynamic intensity, and have shared bills with the likes of bar italia, Rose City Band, Daisy Rickman, and Wednesday on their recent tours. They’ve also become a staple of Bristol festivals in the last year as well, with sets at Simple Things and Ritual Union garnering warm reception.

Eva May spent her Brtistol childhood singing in choirs, which has left a mark on her musical style with lush ethereal vocal arrangements. Her first single, Where Does The Time Go, was released in 2024 on Full Time Hobby. The song was written on her family piano, drawing a connection to her younger self whilst navigating growing older. She recently collaborated with Memotone on In Dreams, from his recent album on World of Echo.

English Weather are a new Bristol indie-folk band, mixing in a dash of Nick Drake, a large helping of Crosby, Stills & Nash and a little sprinkle of Teenage Fanclub to create a perfectly seasoned musical stew.
