Rooted in the sacred traditions of Moroccan Gnawa music, and infused with a powerful modern energy, this full band show promises an unforgettable journey through trance, soul, and unstoppable rhythm.

Music starts at 7:30PM sharp.
Two live sets of 45 minutes each, with a short break in between.

Led by Moroccan Maalem (master musician) Mohamed Errebbaa, Tagna Groove blends the deep-rooted traditions of Gnawa music with contemporary sounds including funk, afrobeat, blues, and jazz. Based in Bristol, UK, the six-piece band delivers high-energy performances that celebrate cultural heritage while engaging modern audiences.
Errebbaa, a master of the guembri, founded Tagna Groove in 2023 after years of performing across Morocco and Europe. Their debut album, Hali (2023), funded by Arts Council England, explores themes of spiritual journey and cultural identity, featuring collaborations such as with guitarist Justin Adams.
Tagna Groove has performed at festivals and venues including Shambala, Afrika Eye, Queens hall and The Hootananny, captivating audiences with their hypnotic rhythms and soulful sound.
